Co-Living has long established itself before the 21st century and one can afford to wind back to the pre-war eras where Isokon Flats in North London was established based on the concept of the minimalist urban living created to satisfy the needs if intellectual, working middle class society at that time.

The idea of Co.Art wasn't created to fulfil the need if urban living per se, but also to reinterpret as a "placemaking" as well as a melting pot of ideas and ideologies where the residents can share their similar visions, values, and interests all under one roof.
