RHYTHM AND RHYME

Perched on a hill in urban Kota Damansara, D'Vervain consisting of two blocks made up of units sizes varying from 550-1100 square feet. The two blocks, 44 storeys and 45 storeys respectively, sit on a podium made up of with facilities such as fitness amenities, playgrounds, swimming pool and garden to name a few.

The repetitive rhythm of planter boxes hides the carpark podium beneath its leaves and shrubbery, which forms a fusion of nature and built environment. The exterior apartment facade is made up of a rhythmic mosaic motif that repeats itself vertically; this contrasts and balances with the simple, bold, dark gray of its secondary facade. The secondary facade also functions as a break between the two rhythms, thereby rhyming the facade in symmetry.
