ARCHITECTURAL PORTMANTEAU
As the centerpiece of a new 'Central Park Development' by renowned property developers EXSIM, D'Vine consists of 1450 unit service apartments made up of cozy 550 square feet units.
As the 'Central Park' moniker suggests, the apartment's architecture takes it inspiration from the Post Modern and Art Noveau architecture commonly found around New York City. Simplifying architectural flourishes and language, we have fused the two styles creating an architectural portmanteau, Post Mouveau. The selection of colors to ape red brick facades, and repetition of compartmentalization with horizontal and vertical bands creates the sense of scale for the residential apartments, while also highlighting the multifaceted nature and lives of its inhabitants.
The various functions - retails, carpark podiums and facilities - are subtly denoted into the overall visual perception. With its homogeneous-earthy colours, this building will be eye-catching impetus to the overall township development.
