THREE OF A KIND

Consisting of three blocks that rise from its surroundings, this apartment complex consist of units sizes ranging from 900-1250 square feet. The three blocks of varying height sit on a facility podium with a multitude of different utilities and facilities made available to its residents.

Utilizing clean, straight lines to delineate the apartments and their mass, the repetition of horizontal lines draws the eye upwards, thereby highlighting the scale and form of the individual blocks. While at the same time, the dark shade and repetition of the vertical aluminum louvers contrasting with the lighter shade of grey of the carpark podium takes the focus away from the podium's mass, with the focus instead of drawn to the rhythm of the elements.
